This policy explains what SC DrillTech does with the information you give us — mainly, the email address you provide when you subscribe. Plain language, no surprises.

Who we are

SC DrillTech is an independent solids-control, drilling-fluids and drilling-waste-management engineering practice operated by Othman Soliman. If you have any question about your data, contact us through the contact page.

What we collect

When you subscribe we collect the email address you enter, the cadence you choose (Weekly, Monthly or Both), and the date of your consent. If you contact us directly, we keep the message you send. We do not ask for sensitive personal data.

How we use it

• To send you the SC DrillTech briefing you chose.
• To occasionally send related updates, tools and offers — such as the Complete Toolkit and Rig IQ — that are relevant to your work.
• To understand, in aggregate, which content is useful (open and click rates), so we can improve the briefing.

We rely on your consent (the box you tick at sign-up) as the legal basis for sending these emails.

What we will never do

We will never sell, rent or share your email with third parties for their own marketing. Your address stays with SC DrillTech and the email platform we use to deliver the newsletter.

Where your data is stored

Your subscription is stored with the email-delivery service we use to run the newsletter (for example, a provider such as Hostinger Reach, MailerLite or Brevo). These providers process the data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms and standard data-processing agreements.

Your rights

• Unsubscribe at any time — every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Access, correct or delete your data — just ask and we will action it.
• If you are in the EU/UK, you have the rights granted under the GDPR, including the right to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Cookies & analytics

Our site may use basic analytics to understand traffic in aggregate. These do not identify you personally and are separate from your newsletter subscription.

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you by email.
