Book registration privacy
This notice covers the details submitted to download From Formation to Waste. Our general Privacy Policy also applies.
Who is responsible
SC DrillTech, operated by Othman Soliman, decides how this registration data is used. Contact: support@scdrilltech.com.
What we collect
Your email address, the registration date and time (UTC), the page you registered from, and whether you ticked the optional updates box. We also record that this notice was shown. A hashed form of your IP address is kept for up to 24 hours to limit excessive submissions.
Why we use it
To record your request, provide access to the PDF, and administer and protect the download. We rely on our legitimate interest in delivering the book you asked for and protecting the service.
If you tick the optional box, we may also email you when a new edition of the book or related SC DrillTech training is released. That use relies on your consent. Registering without the box does not subscribe you to anything.
Where it goes
The record is stored in a private file outside the publicly served part of our website hosting. Only SC DrillTech accesses it. We do not sell or share the data, and your email address is never posted publicly.
How long we keep it
Registration records are kept for up to 24 months after your last registration and then deleted. If you opted in to updates, your email is kept for that purpose until you unsubscribe. Every update email will include a simple way to unsubscribe.
Your choices
To access, correct or delete your record, or to withdraw consent to updates, email support@scdrilltech.com from the registered address. We reply within 30 days.
Security and limitations
The form checks submitted information, uses a single-use security token, and keeps the full book PDF outside the publicly accessible website folder. The download link is valid for one hour. Email ownership is not verified by this form.
